Camping And Wedding

Hans & Rivka Last weekend I took a long weekend so that I can train up to Sloatsburg on Friday. My friends were getting married at Camp Baker which required me to sleep in a cabin with few friends for the weekend. Now I'm not much of an outdoorsy person so actually camping out (sort of) was a huge step for me. Though overall it was super fun and relaxing. Had 5 buffet meals, went on a rowboat, giant bonfires, played ping pong, sat on the porch, hiked a little and got to hang out with good friends.

Happy Days

Montauk

Montauk After 7 years of talking about making the trip out to Montauk, I finally made it! I think what I really wanted to do what to see the lighthouse and also to just get out of the city. Anh, Howard and I started our trek around 8am and didn't get to Montauk till 11am. First thing we did was to get some breakfast then followed by some beach time. I hate the beach and sand actually but it wasn't so bad. I pretty much laid under the umbrella and read. After the beach we drove over to the lighthouse and hiked around there. Before going back to the city, we had dinner at a restaurant called 668.

Overall it was a fantastic day trip but Montauk is super expensive.
