Brunch at Colonie, 127 Atlantic Ave Brooklyn. Biscuit Benedict, Duck Hash, Grits, Bloody Marys, Coffee and Freshly Fried Doughnuts with Salty Caramel Custard.

I am definitely all for the brunch thing. It's huge in NYC and people wouldn't mind waiting 2hrs for a table, for a taste of delicious pancakes or poached eggs over biscuits. Though for those same reasons, I know many who hate brunch.

Which side do you belong to?

I have heard many great things about Colonie and it only took me few years plus after moving out of the neighborhood to go try it. The Bloody Mary was good, the Duck Hash was delicious but the killer dish was the Biscuit Benedict. Once you had this, you definitely can't have eggs Benedict with English muffins anymore.

Voodoo Music Experience

Last October I was lucky enough to go to New Orleans for the Voodoo Music Experience for work. I was there for 4 days and filled up 4 4GB compact flash cards of photos! I had a great time at the festival and at New Orleans. Was able to hang out with a bunch of my coworkers that i normally don't get a chance to talk to. Better Days

Better days. There are days when I just love to take aimless walks. Most of the time I leave my cellphone at home just so I can truly wander by myself. With my camera in my bag and music playing in my earphones I wander around town for hours. Then once in a while my heart starts to ache. Aching for that long lost relationship that I have tried so hard to forget but everyone knows you can never forget that one person. I gave my whole heart to that person. We don't talk anymore but she still has a piece of my heart. As I walk these streets, in my own little world, her absence in my life haunts me.

I wander alone.

On these streets, better days don't exist.

The Smell Of Peel Apart

I never gave much thought about Polaroid. I own one of the sleek new design one that for some reason I don't feel a soul in it. Then I started to see the SX-70 popping up everywhere. That was when I started to see the beauty of Polaroid and just how beautiful the photo can be. I googled a lot about Polaroid and finally got my hands on a Land Camera 350. It is one of those peel apart film camera. The tricky part of course is knowing when to peel the film. Looking at the above photo, I still have a lot to learn. Find the other 2 photos here!
